It’s finally been announced that The Tudors will continue for a third season! We all knew that was coming right?

According to Zap2it: The pay-cable network has picked up the Golden Globe-nominated show for a third season, it announced Tuesday (April 22). Production is scheduled to begin in June for a 2009 premiere.

Will you guys be watching the show without Anne / Natalie? It will loose a lot of its appeal for me, but I have to say I will be tuning for the third season, if not only to see Elizabeth!

I can’t imagine The Tudors without Natalie Dormer, without Anne.. I love her so much… :( :(:(:( And I hate Henry VIII;/

I bet season 3 has a new Henry. Wonder who’ll play Catherine Howard?

As far as I know, JRM is already signed up for the third season. IF they did a 4th and JRM didn’t want to continue, then they’d have to have a new Henry.

I’m gonna miss Nat but I’m a huge history buff, so how can I not watch? lol Maybe she could still make an appearance though… like in a dream or a vision. After all, they say the ghost of Anne Boleyn still walks the halls of Hampton Court to this day ;)

haha exactly my thoughts! She should haunt Henry and make him sorry!

So not fair… I can’t imagine watching Tudors without Anne/Natalie!

I am not sure. I am a big Anne Boleyn history buff. But I might just watch to see how it turns out. How many more seasons can they continue with at the speed of time they are going? Will The Tudors continue on to the reigns of Henry’s children? Thanks for all you do.

I will definitely be watching season 3, but it definitely won’t be the same without Natalie. She brought so much to the show and to the character of Anne. Like Jenn, I would love to see her brought back to haunt Henry throughout the third season.

I will continue to watch but I think I’ll feel the absence of Natalie quite heavily.

Heh, I really liked Anne of Cleves after reading a few books. She seems itneresting- not ugly like everyone said, but Henry didn’t like her… and she’s the only one, I suppose, to survive a divorce from Henry :D But I’m sad for Anne Boleyn… as usual.

I will keep watching, but I will probably not be as interested in the show. Only Henry’s first two wives really interest me. Once Katharine and Anne are gone, what’s the point? (Although, if they weave Mary and Elizabeth in, I will continue watching faithfully.)
