Most of you who have been visiting this site for a while will remember that this time last year we created a Christmas Project which involved sending Natalie a CD with all our Christmas messages! This year I haven’t been very organized and its too late to start a Christmas project now SO I have a few other ideas and need your input ;] Details are behind the cut, don’t want to give too much away …  just in case ;]

Although we’ve missed Christmas, Natalie’s birthday is in February AND she’ll also be beginning her run in Sweet Nothing’s so I thought we could do a little something to celebrate her birthday and congratulate her on her return to the stage! Like last year we could make a CD, but I’d like to do something a little different – however I would like it to be sort of easy since I have exams and a dissertation to write in Jan :[ I am open to all of your ideas, so if we get a variety of them I’ll create a poll and we can vote for whichever we think is the best one! Sound ok?

HeathMichelleMatilda

hmm everyone could you create a little christmas-birthday card … with a program eg photoshop
… I work a lot with the program, we could build with pictures of the tudors or so
I’ll do an example … then show it to you

louise

i go online via my phne so wuldnt be able to send media to u, but i’d be mre than happy to use drawing skills to send u a cd sleeve, im a gud drawer nd culd manage pretty much anything u want xx

HeathMichelleMatilda

everyone makes her anything nice, it scans and sends it laura … and then she makes it to cd
I hope laura would agree … because I can not send her letter

here my proposal

Laura

They are both good ideas. Instead of a CD I *could* get a scrap book and print everything off and stick it in the book for her. However I think that depends on how much stuff there is, ink is expensive after all lol and it will make postage more expensive.

I don`t have a good idea yet, but i`ll really think my head of and hopefully return with a great idea!!! :)

Lauren

I do kinda like the scrapbook idea and everyone can get their own page and stuff

Isabella

well the scrapbook idea is very good, though like laura said it will be alot of ink, but lets give it a try and see if it works!

I also like the scrapbook idea!

Emily

I’m a little confused. It says on one part of the site that she was born on February 11th (not confirmed). But, under “Star Sign” it says she was born November 30th. Which is it? We don’t want to send her a birthday card in February when her birthday is actually nine months later….

Emily, her birthday has never been confirmed, but I think its in Feb … not 100% sure though. And the scrapbook wont totally be birthday related … I’m thinking more along the links of a book filled with messages to congratulate her on her theater performance.

Wikipedia said 11. Feb.

Natalie

I like the Scrapbook idea. But I was also thinking maybe of a wall or desk calendar that features images of all the characters she’s played. I know that this available in the US, where stores like Duane Reade and Rite Aid can make up a calendar, and you have to provide the images.

Anne-Laure

I like the scrapbook idea and even the calendar one but I’m not sure she’ll like watching herself… I mean we love how she embodies characters but for her it’s just a job… Would you like to see photos of you while being at work? lol! I don’t know if you see what I mean…
I had a few ideas: what about a frame with her name spelled and each letter associated with an adjective (N for …. A for etc…) something she could put on a wall…?
Or something I find funny: we write to her in order to have a photo and a dedicace, so what about sending her an album with OUR pictures and dedicaces to her congratuling on her new part… That would be quite amusing!
Or since we are coming from all part of the world we could send her something from our own country, something very special and (if Laura is OK) sending everything to Laura so that she could sending everything in a row…
I’m not all my ideas are completely stupid! lol!

Anne-Laure

Sorry, see above: I hope all my ideas are not completely stupid! ^^

HeathMichelleMatilda

i think not that its only a job for her…
she love this work…and i think its good to show her our enthusiasm for her work …
i think she would be happy

Isabella

that was funny anne-laure,” I’m not sure she’ll like watching herself.”!! haha,OMG that was frickin hilarious. But I really do like the part on which we send her something from are country or our pics to her. that is good but I am not trying to be rude, I think the final decision goes to Laura. though I hope she picks one of your ideas!

All your ideas are great.

So far I’m leaning towards a scrap book. In the scrap book we can pretty much put anything in it.

With the rest of the ideas I’m just worried about postage costs, I’m a student after all and prices are quite hefty for anything that has any weight to it, the scrap book will be costly enough. So anything that saves me money, ill be happy with :)

Anne-Laure

I completely get what you mean Laura! It’s definitely not in my intention to bankrupt you! I’m also a student myself, Xmas digs already a huge hole in budgets! lol!
Indeed we can scrapbook anything and if we want to put our picture and dedicace (as suggested above)or anything else we want in it, all we have to do is e-mail it to you, Laura, right? Do you have the opportunity to print it?

Isabella

that is a great idea,I like it!! and yes me too i am in college so I do know what you both mean. lets do the scrapbook!

Yep, IF we do the scrapbook, people can email me stuff to print off.

OR if we have enough time, people can post me thing’s they’d like included – that would also help me with ink costs.

I’m still open to any other ideas though :)

HeathMichelleMatilda

sorry >.< my english is not good …
what we doo now? pictures from her in the tudors whatever or pictures from us?
