The BBC have [finally] released a press pack for The Fades which includes our first look at Natalie as Sarah and an interview!

Natalie Dormer (The Tudors, Silk, W.E.) is Sarah, beautiful, complicated and damaged. Cursed by her powers and torn from the comfort of her loving home and family, she eventually managed to rebuild her life and find solace with Mark (Tom Ellis). Before things went wrong all over again. Sarah can be tough and determined and is incredibly loyal. She is Juliet to Mark’s Romeo – hopelessly in love but always just out of reach.

News on the Natalie front is very quiet at the moment as I think she may be filming, or getting ready to film her scenes in Game of Thrones! A little bit more information on The Fades for you today though! The executive producer of The Fades has spoken briefly about the show to Digital Spy.

The supernatural drama, written by Skins scribe Jack Thorne, will focus on Paul (Iain De Caestecker), a young man who can see spirits of the dead known as ‘the Fades’.

Skinner told SFX: “The thing I found so exciting about working with Jack on developing the mythology of the show is that they’re Fades, and you’ve not seen Fades before. They’re not ghosts, they’re not werewolves [and] they’re not vampires.”

She continued: “I think a lot of fantasy shows draw on people’s received ideas of monsters and how those things work, [but] actually this is completely new.”

Last night Natalie attended the premiere of Captain America which opens on July 22nd (USA) and July 29th (UK). She looked very glamorous in a long striped dress, check out the pictures in the gallery. I’ll try and get some HQ ones once I’m back from work :].

George R.R. Martin, the author of Game of Thrones has mentioned Natalie in a new interview in which he discusses season two of the hit HBO show. The interview is in French but our lovely Anne-Laure has translated it for us all to read. Read the original interview here.

Natalie Dormer is a very good choice. She was The Tudors’ best actress and the best Anne Boleyn I’ve ever seen.

After having the last layout up for almost a year I thought it was definitely time for a change so here we have a new, but very simple, layout featuring the beautiful picture of Natalie at the City of Life Press Conference back in 2009.
