The Emmy’s may have snubbed Natalie but the Canadian Gemini Awards have recognized her for her work in Season 1 of The Tudors. In the 23rd Annual Gemini Awards, which will take place on the 28th November, Natalie has been nominated for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role” for her work in the season 1 finale (1.10).

Natalie is up against actresses such as Kristin Booth, Helene Joy, Jewel Staite & Camille Sullivan. Not sure why 1.10 was chosen? Has season 2 been shown in Canada yet? But anyway, a nomination is a nomination! Best of luck to Natalie!

Season 2 doesn’t start in Canada until September 30th, so that’s probably why. FINALLY she gets nominated, I’m so happy for her!!! Leave it to Canada to finally recognize talent where talents due lol
