The day has finally come! But before I get too excited let me say that this is not confirmed by the director or the actors agents. However The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Natalie has been cast is a new film called “Fencewalker” which will be directed by none other than Chris Carter (The X Files fan in me is screaming).

Neither Carter’s reps at ICM nor the actors’ reps would confirm that the film is shooting, but the story is essentially a coming-of-age semiautobiographical character piece with no supernatural elements.

Carter wrote the script for what is thought to be his passion project some time ago and raised the financing himself. The film has a modest budget and no distributor at this point.

According to firstshowing.net, the film will also star Katie Cassidy, Xzibit, Derek Magyar, and Meckah Brooks. Oh, I hope this is true!

It’s probably true. Generally, I’ve found The Hollywood Reporter a very reliable movie news source at my websites; they’ve been the first to report e.g. three of Tricia Helfer’s and two of Milla Jovovich’s latest movie/tv projects, all of which have been later confirmed by official sources.
