Henry is shaken with fear when one of his friends William Crompton dies of the sweating sickness, which is spreading like wild file across England. When it finally reaches London, with the Queen and Princess Mary safe in Wales he shuts himself up at the court, but is soon forced to flee when the sickness kills one of his servants. Further more news soon reaches him that Anne Boleyn has caught the illness and is not suspected to live. Henry faces turmoil and fear whilst he fights to live and worries about the life of his dearly beloved.
