'The Tudors' is the lavish new series brought to you by Showtime, detailing the life and loves of the 16th Century, King of England, Henry VIII. The series picks up in the early 1500's when the King is married to Catherine of Aragon, but soon finds himself falling for the beautiful yet bewitching Anne Boleyn, who after a split from the Roman Catholic Church brings Henry and England to their knee's. The first season ended with the fight for Henry's divorce becoming a bitter battle, and the second promises to be even more exciting with guest stars such as Peter O'Toole as the Pope.
