A batch of new old stills from Sweet Nothings have been added to the gallery, thanks so much to Annika for those! Also if any of you have glanced at Natalie’s IMDB profile recently you’ll know that it has her listed as being part of the new Captain America cast. If this is true then it’s amazing news but as far as I’m aware no cast announcements including Natalie have been made, so for now I think we’ll have to class it as a rumor.

I know you all are desperate to know how Friday evening went so I apologize for taking so long, I had to finish off my dissertation :]. Anyway, as you know I did go and see Sweet Nothing’s on Friday! The play was fantastic, I loved every minute of it! Natalie was of course, amazing and so was the rest of the cast. They all did a magnificent job!

After the play I met up with Felicity and Natalie was very kind enough to come out and say hi! She also brought her co-star Kate (Christine) out and we all chatted, took pictures and got some stuff signed. It was fab and I feel very honored to have had the chance to meet Natalie, Kate and Felicity! It was a great night and I want to say thanks to Natalie and Kate for coming out afterward and good luck for the rest of the tour!

Pictures are behind the cut! The first picture is me, the second is Felicity, there are more under the cut! Oh and if you haven’t already go and see Sweet Nothings!!

A few extra stills have been posted in the gallery, thanks to Stephanie for the links! London Theatre and The Stage have also posted reviews for Sweet Nothings, again everything seems to be positive, which is great!

In Luc Bondy’s dazzling production, the opening act is like a frantic polka characterised by spontaneity and lots of drink. Under his masterly direction, the cast immediately come alive, roaming the stage, alert to each other, occasionally histrionic, often thoughtful, sometimes troubled.

The acting is both startling and moving, with the young cast unafraid to collide violently with one another in passion and aggression. At one point the fairly minimalist set is transformed by the characters into a scene of decadence, chaos and wasted oblivion, with broken glass, scattered cake and discarded bed linen littering the room.

Sweet Nothings opened in London this week and we are finally seeing some reviews and pictures leak through! Everything I’ve read so far has praised Natalie’s performance (though I’ve lost the links to most of the ones I’ve looked at). The Guardian has posted quite a positive review though, and a new picture!

And you learn everything you need to know about Natalie Dormer’s selfishly sensual Mitzi when she casually plants her hat on Christine’s carefully laid-out chessboard. But the performances throughout are as impeccable as the production. Read More …

A trailer for Natalie’s upcoming play, Sweet Nothings has been posted on the YoungVic website! It’s mostly a behind the scenes look but it’s great to hear Natalie talk about the play and it’s writer. Thanks to Riley for the heads up!

When Sweet Nothing’s finishes its run in London on April 25th it will be heading over to Europe and fans in Vienna can be happy because it will be showing there! You can book tickets and find information on showing times etc at the Wiener Festwochen website! Depending on my deadlines and work I’m going to try very hard to get to London in February so I can see the play, is anyone else planning on going?

Also, in totally unrelated news the girls over at the Anne Boleyn Files are going to start selling Anne Boleyn gowns and there is a poll to choose the first dress to be sold, head over and cast your vote! I voted the execution one, I love it! Vote here.
