In April Natalie will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon in an effort to raise money for Barnardo’s. You can check out Natalie’s message from her fundraising page below. She has raised over £3,000 so far, lets help her a little futher!

Hey guys!

I am proud to be running the Virgin Money London Marathon this April to raise money and awareness for Barnardo’s.

Barnado’s transforms the lives of the most vulnerable children through its services, campaigning and research. Issues such as child poverty, sexual abuse and exploitation, disability, mental health, alcohol and substance abuse and domestic violence.

I’m training whilst shooting ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ in Atlanta. So rest assured there will be plenty of ridiculous alarm times and running the streets after long days on set. My goal is to finish the 26.3 miles in under 4 hours!

Huge thanks in advance. I am grateful for any donation no matter how big or small. Every penny makes a difference and it’s going to a cause I believe has a massive impact on many childrens lives.

You can make a difference too.

Love,

Nat x

Yesterday evening Natalie again took part in the annual benefit performance of “The 24 Hours Plays”. Natalie and fellow actors managed to raise $500,000! Pictures will be added shortly.

The coffee-fueled benefit performance of “The 24 Hour Plays” was held at the American Airlines Theatre, an annual event in which more than two dozen actors — this time including Jesse Tyler Ferguson, James McAvoy, Jason Biggs and Zachary Levi — teamed up with six writers and six directors to write and rehearse a half-dozen plays over a single day. The event raised $500,000.

The six playwrights were David Lindsay-Abaire, Jonathan Marc Sherman, Lynn Nottage, Theresa Rebeck, Rachel Axler and Devin Mojica, a sophomore from New York University who earlier won a spot.

Esquire have posted another article on Natalie, this time giving us a close up shot of her new tattoo and some details about it!

That’s a line from Dune by Frank Hebert. More specifically, it’s from what is known as the “litany against fear,” which goes:

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

In the book, the litany against fear is repeated by an elite sisterhood with superhuman intellect and powers, called the Bene Gesserit, who use it to calm and focus.

We always had a feeling Natalie had to be something beyond human. This confirms it.
