Hey everyone, I’m back from Rome now! I finally got to watch the final episode of The Tudors this morning and after crying like a baby I’ve been able to add screen captures to the gallery and a video clip to the video archive! The episode was so beautiful and seeing Catherine, Anne and Jane again was a great way of ending the series – it did make me realize just how much I’ve missed Anne in the latest series though. I think a Season 1 and Season 2 Tudors marathon is in order!

wow…wow is all i can say. When i watched it was like she never left the show but at the same time it was like shes been gone for so long, to long almost. But im happy we got to see her again, she looks amazing and i love the dress she was wearing!

I’m sure Anne Boleyn was very proud of her daughter because Elizabeth was one of the best monarch in England, 40 years of gold.

I really missed her in the 3 and 4 season.

“I thought you knew.”
Does that whole speech mean that Henry DIDN’T accuse her, he just thought these things were true? He seems horrified to hear her proclaim innocence….

Natalie was awesome, like always. That one scene made me realize how much I really missed her on the show! Her speech was so incredibly well done <3

Aw. Personally, Natalie owned, carried and made that show for me when she was still involved in it.

I love his plea at the end “Anne please don’t…” he seems genuinely regretful of what he has done to her. Natalie is brilliant as always and I love that they brought her back. The montage at the end was incredible too. So many great moments with Anne.

I just finished a book by Alison Weir called the Lady in the Tower which is about the last 3 months of Anne Boleyns life. Essential reading for anybody interested in the topic.

It is one of the great ironies of history that Henry VIII sacrificed Anne (albeit with a significant push from Cromwell) over his obsession to get a son to carry on the dynasty and it was the daughter she produced which would be the greatest legacy of the Tudor dynasty. The greatest monarch England has ever known. I really wish they’d continue the series with Elizabeth and bring to life the Golden Age with their masterful work on the show. Ah well.

She was so awesome! I loved the way she turned around and left Henry. I missed Anne a lot!

For me she was the only true loved wife of Henry VIII.
She made him change a whole religion to become his wife and that’s just what is expressed by her last appearance!
missed her so much! She’s just so beautiful and awesome and gorgeous!

I’ve also read “Lady in the tower” by Alison Wier, i’ve read numerous books of hers on The Tudors. Along with many others. I only really am interested in Elizabeth and Anne Boleyn, that was why i decided to start watching this show. So i absolutely loved this scene with a vision of mother and daughter together. Natlaie is so outstanding at playing Anne it was beyond description her entire work throughout the entire seasons she was in.
It’s so weird because i was thinking the exact same thing ages ago, that they should carry on the show throughout Elizabeths reign. Theres many good moments to showcase there. The Aramada defeat, Elizabeths time in the Tower under her sisters rule, Elizabeths endless marriage proposals from foriegn princes, the Mary Queen of scots dilema. Also with Edward VI dying young and Mary 1 reigning for a short time (Elizabeths siblings) it be really great to showcase bits of their reign. Because Elizabeth really did bet staggering odds to become Queen. Lets hope they do carry it on in that way.
